Welcome to Therapy with Hannah!

Nurturing growth in young minds

Is your child's mental health causing concern, leaving you feeling anxious and uncertain about the next steps? Perhaps you have noticed your child displaying early signs of distress, such as withdrawal, emotional outbursts, decline in academic performance, nightmares, mood changes, or increased levels of anxiety, and you would like to address it before it escalates?

Alternatively, despite your best efforts, perhaps your child’s symptoms have intensified, leading them to engage in high-risk behaviours such as self-harming, not eating, eating too much, missing school, or expressing thoughts of suicide? Maybe you are aware that your child has experienced a recent trauma, bereavement, or significant life event, or perhaps it feels as though these symptoms have emerged completely out of the blue?

As a parent/carer, perhaps you are experiencing an all-consuming worry for your child, which is beginning to dominate your every thought? Perhaps you find yourself cancelling social plans, not sleeping or eating properly, struggling to maintain a work-life balance, or neglecting your own emotional needs to care for your child?

If that is the case, I would like to reassure you that you are in exactly the right place. By seeking mental health support for your child, you are not only demonstrating incredible strength and commitment as a parent/carer, but you are also showcasing remarkable love and advocacy by prioritising your child’s wellbeing, growth, and happiness. I appreciate that it can be worrying and scary to know that your child is struggling, and that it can be extremely daunting when you don’t know who to turn to for support.

Therefore, I would like to warmly welcome you to Therapy with Hannah, where we can figure it out together!
